Okay, I have gotten my new host and the new version of Wordpress set-up. I don’t know when I am going to get the old posts back up since it has turned out harder than I thought. One of the benefits of moving from my old host, is that you can now leave comments on posts … one thing that I wanted to have with my old host but that they did not like for several reasons.

Also, I am using Gallery for my photos. It should make working with my photos a lot easier.

I hope to get more stuff posted in the next few days!

As a present for myself, I went to Pens Plus, the pen store in Oxford, and got a nice fountain pen. I have wanted a nice fountain pen for awhile now and since I got my dissertation done a week early, I got one as a present for myself. It is a Waterman Harmonie in Black with white metal accents. I am also using Havana ink … which is a brown-ish, sorta old fashioned ink. For a whole page on Waterman inks, including Havana Brown, check out this link.

So far, I really like the pen and the ink color! I have been writing a lot of little notes today and the extra fine nib works great for me. The actual pen that I bought was, as the lady in the store said, was destined for me. The reason she said that is because it had an extra fine nib, when she thought that she did not have a nib to fit the pen, plus the nib in it gave me a nice small line … smaller than the gold metal version of the pen & nib that I tried.

If you are on the High Street in Oxford, check out Pens Plus! They offer great service and will let you try pens as you please. Plus, both times that I have gone in and been in the mood to purchase, they have been extremely helpful (including holding a pen for me the first time, when I did not buy).
