Martin Brunold, Maker of astrolabes

Martin Brunold is one of the few makers of modern, and historically accurate, astrolabes and related instruments. He is a true craftsman using both the best of ancient and modern techniques. Being handcrafted instruments, none of them are cheap, ranging from £300 to nearly £4000, but they are perfect as handling objects at a museum or for a teacher of the history of science.
